The motorcycle is our bond. Action is our reason for being.
United Riders Morocco is an officially registered humanitarian aid association founded in Marrakech and led today by its founding branch. It brings together UR members, supporting members, volunteers and partners around one conviction: some situations require a real presence and a practical response.
Our official association status provides a legitimate framework for our missions, responsibilities and duty of transparency. Motorcycle brotherhood is our force for commitment; humanitarian aid is our purpose.
Since the earthquake of 8 September 2023, our field commitment has continued for the long term. After four months devoted to the emergency, missions carried on weekly or, depending on need, at least every fifteen days.
We do not seek to multiply operations. We seek to produce results that last.
Our approach to action
We do not organise improvised distributions, street food handouts or clothing free-for-alls. Material aid may be useful in an emergency, but it must be targeted, prepared, dignified and followed up.
We prioritise education, access to water, better schools, essential equipment and solutions that strengthen a community’s self-reliance.
- The need is personally verified in the field.
- Beneficiaries and a local contact are identified.
- The proposed response produces a useful or lasting result.
- The budget, purchases and progress can be checked.
- A follow-up visit is arranged after the work.
Respect for Morocco and its Muslim identity
United Riders Morocco was born in Marrakech and works in Morocco. Every UR member, volunteer and partner respects the Kingdom, its people, institutions, traditions, customs and Muslim identity.
We work with discretion, modesty and humility. We never impose an outside vision: we listen, understand and build responses with the people concerned. Beneficiaries are never a backdrop for communication.
