United Riders meeting residents of an Atlas douar

Long-term initiative · Rakdou

Water and education, for the long term.

At approximately 1,500 metres above sea level, United Riders Morocco supports a douar of 130 residents and a school of 34 pupils.

A field relationship, not a one-off operation.

Rakdou reflects challenges common to mountain villages: fragile infrastructure, difficult access, limited resources and ongoing educational needs. United Riders Morocco combines logistics, technical skills and regular visits in response.

Access to water

More than five kilometres of pipe have been installed to supply two douars. The work also includes diagnosing damaged infrastructure, sourcing equipment and following up repairs.

School and educational continuity

The school welcomes 34 pupils. Our work focuses on the learning environment, essential equipment and long-term educational support, particularly through RAYAAM.

Follow-up

We maintain a presence every week or, at minimum, every fifteen days depending on field conditions. Needs, expenditure and results are documented so partners can understand exactly what their support makes possible.

“Proximity is not a promise.
It is a rhythm of presence.”
